Palau breaks-ground on major road and port improvements
The United States’ top official to the Pacific is in Palau this week to break ground on a US grant funded infrastructure initiative.The Interior Assistant Secretary for Insular Affairs, Doug Domenech, and Palau President, Tommy Remengesau Jr, opened the $US9.2-million construction of roading and port improvements made possible under the recently renewed Palau Compact Review Agreement.
