Domestic Transition

Members of the MCST team are supporting Pacific Island countries in researching and developing more energy efficient and low carbon forms of transport at home on the Ocean.

Building on the strategic work begun with the Marshall Islands, including the National Transport Decarbonisation Framework Catalyst for Change in 2015 and the 2022 updated version Rebbelib 2050, and developing practical projects for intra- and inter-atoll wind assist vessels, the MCST team has also provided assistance to other Pacific countries through various research consultancies and strategic planning support.
