Wartsila Proceeds with Rotor-Sail Partnership

Finnish maritime technology group Wartsila has partnered with UK-based Anemoi Marine Technologies for purchase and service of rotor sails. Anemoi designs overcome operational constraints such as air draft and cargo handling, and Wartsila believes rotor sails will deliver significant fuel and emission savings based upon available information on the technology, and will promote the solution for both newbuild projects and for retrofitting to existing ships.
