Jack Newell is currently completing a Bachelors in Sciences specializing in marine ecology with Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University Wellington. Jack grew up aboard a sailing vessel in Fiji and has a strong love for the ocean and marine ecosystems, and Pacific Islands anthropology. His recent research includes a literature review on the impacts of cruise tourism in Aotearoa NZ and the Pacific Islands. Jack’s passions include environmental sciences and policy in Aotearoa and the Pacific.
