This is the proposal of Fiji, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu submitted to next week’s International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) Intersessional meeting of the Working Group on Reduction of GHG emissions from ships (Submission ISWG-GHG 14/2/4). Last week, United States (US) Special Envoy John Kerry announced that the US will support these numbers, and United Kingdom (UK) has also weighed in.
