Fiiji Islands Voyaging Society (FIVS), in collaboration with a number of key stakeholders, has been undertaking a research programme into Fijian sailing heritage. This paper gives a report on progress on collecting and archiving the historical record of drua and related culture. It also sets out recommendations as to the next steps to be taken in this research agenda.
