The purpose of the document “Emission Reduction Targets for International Aviation and Shipping” (produced in 2015) was to support the European Parliament in assessing adequate contributions of international aviation and shipping sectors towards emission reductions to meet climate goals. It aimed to provide expertise to Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) on setting appropriate emission reduction targets for these sectors.
