Report on the sixty-eighth session of MEPC 69. Includes considerations of the document MEPC 68/5/1 (Marshall Islands) providing justification for and requesting the Committee to undertake the work necessary to establish a GHG emission reduction target for international shipping consistent with keeping global warming below 1.5°C, and to agree the measures necessary to reach that target.
