Waste generated by End-of-Life-Vehicles (ELV) has been a driver for several industrialised countries, typically in Europe, to adopt active management policies and regulations. In this paper, the authors examine the ELV policies implemented in the following countries: Germany; Japan; Sweden; Netherlands; and United Kingdom.
