Swedish companies lead collaboration to promote electric shipping

Swedish environmental technology firms have joined the Shipowners’ Association to launch a climate-smart initiative for maritime that will drive export opportunities, as electrification takes hold of the industry.

Two major Swedish maritime businesses have joined forces with a research institute, a battery technology specialist and the shipowners’ association to push for commercial opportunities within the maritime space that focuses on increased electrification.
